Our simple on-line application walks you through the
steps of creating an RF(X) and attaching the associated files
weather they be documents drawings, spreadsheets or specifications.
Distribute the Request for Proposal /
Bid / Quote RF(X)
Once your RF(X) is created you will be presented with
several distribution options. You can let the system automatically
match your RF(X) to suppliers with the right expertise and capacity
or you can create a preferred supplier list and control the
distribution.
You can even invite your suppliers who are not
presently members of RFPsite.com to quote your RF(X)s online.
Collaborate with
Suppliers
With our inter-process communication you can securely and privately
collaborate with suppliers regarding technical and business issues
related to your RF(X)s. As with all other activity within the
system, collaboration will be permanently associated with your
RF(X)s for historical reference.
Edit, Update, or Remove
Once your RF(X) has
been created and suppliers begin to respond through the secure
inter-process communication system, you can reply directly to that
supplier, or go back and edit, update, or remove files and documents
up until a certain time. After that time, the RF(X) may be cancled,
delayed, or allowed to complete.
Review Bids and
Proposals
Bids are securely sealed until the expiration date and
delivered to you online which makes selection and management easy.
You can provide co-workers with access to the responses, or simply
forward the responses through your organizations approved means.
Perform Due
Diligence
RFPsite.com provides you the tools to perform real-time
due diligence on potential suppliers. We combine self-disclosed
information, with third party information and ratings from other
users (eBay style) to give you an accurate profile of suppliers you
may be considering for a project.
Select a Supplier
Finally, you select a supplier and award the RF(X)
online. All suppliers that bid on the RF(X) will be notified of
your award and your comments as to why will be posted as well. This
will greatly reduce your having to repeatedly explain the reason a
RF(X) was awarded.
RFPsite.com has no vested interest in controlling
or being a part of any relationships that you form with suppliers.
RFPsite.com is subscription based, and or transaction based, so you
are completely free to select one of our network suppliers or one of
your own suppliers, whichever is able to most closely meet your
requirements.
A Word About Courtesy
We encourage Buyers to use professional courtesy and
respond to Suppliers that have taken the time to quote RF(X)s.
Suppliers understand they will not win every job they quote, but
they do appreciate feedback and acknowledgement of the resources
they expended to prepare a quote for you.
