  1. Limited time, annual access fee ($49.99) maintains current identifications for validation purposes and provides access to basic RFP and Bid features.  Advanced features are available, such as secure pre-bid collaboration, closed system messaging, extensive reporting, large file transfers, and real-time document editing .  Additional charges apply for access to advanced features.

  2. Purchasers create their Requests for Proposal (RFPs) or other processes and post them ($24.99) for review by either "Invitation Only", or through electronic notification to hundreds of Vendors.

  3. Vendor members contacted automatically via email when RFPs matching their profile are posted.  Buyers can select who is able to review their RFP.

  4. Vendors submit bids ($49.99 each) through a secure, time-dated system, thereby eliminating unavoidable delays.

  5. Purchasers have access to a variety of RFP status reports. Flexible report filters can further focus on specific data, such as Bids.

  6. The entire bidding process, as well as the post procurement process, is tracked and can be reviewed at any time.

  7. Similarly, members can review their own activity.

  8. Intra-member communications tools enable, purchasers and vendors to contact each other, facilitating partnering, subcontracting and networking relationships. This one-way and/or multi-person internal email/memo/notification system is useful for any correspondence, including clarification of RFPs. Chat rooms are available for discussions during the RFP/Bidding process.

  9. Every RFP life cycle event is tracked and counted. Bid submission reports show bid submission by industry, amount awarded, award/bid ratio, RFPs awarded, recipients by demographic grouping, and many other factors. RFP issuing firm can retrieve Memorandum Of Qualifications  (MOQ) on all potential bidders.  All RFPs are handled by an automatic closing system, which produces summary information.[d1]

  10. Historical reports can display activity by purchasers and vendors alike. Successful bidders can be tracked by geographical location. Additionally, project tracking provides accountability and allows vendors and purchasers to report/track progress.

  12. System provides an intuitive and natural navigation system, easily used by anyone.

  13. An extremely powerful (Google (TM) type) search engine, plus a common English “drill down locator” search system quickly locates NAICS codes and available RFP’s.

  14. RFPsite.com currently has a national database of over 40 thousand vendors, growing daily to an expected 200 thousand by 2007.

  15. Through the system, members have access to a profile page and a fully-functional website of their own, if they desire. Both provide a quick review by potential networking partners or purchasing agents.

  16. An on-line virtual tutorial is available for every aspect of the site.

  17. All company specific certifications and compliance documents (ISO 9000) can be kept on-line and automatically included with any Bid or RFP, thereby reducing redundant data entry.

  18. Financial tracking and reporting is easily accessible for monitoring spending and budget tracking/comparisons.
